Creative Set Lead

Softball Media Day

Softball media day is all about building a strong photo library we can use throughout the season. The pictures are used for social posts, graphics, and promos. The shoot was shot at night, using a single overhead light to create a dramatic, spotlight look. As the lead photographer, I guided each player through a structured shot list that included wide portraits, tighter detail shots, and a few pose variations. The goal was to keep the look consistent across the entire roster while giving designers plenty of flexibility.

BEHIND THE SCENES

THE SETUP

A single overhead light was used on the softball field for the set. The set was moved between home plate and the pitcher’s circle by position, keeping the lighting consistent.
